Providence St. Joseph's Hospital (SJH) offers full-service acute care, skilled health care
professionals and the latest in medical technology to the residents of Stevens
County.
Founded in 1929 by the Dominican Sisters, our hospital has expanded over the years
to meet the needs of the community. In 1983, with a fund drive and support from
the community, we dedicated a new SJH building.
SJH is licensed by the state of Washington for 25 acute care and
40 long-term care beds. As a member of Providence Health and Services, SJH
is one of 12 ministries in Eastern Washington, who together provide our
region with a full continuum of medical care services. These range from health and
skilled nursing care to the region's most advanced hospital care.
